This hotel offers the chance to stay at an almost 500-year-old Gasthaus that has just been renovated to very contemporary standards and re-opened as a modern, cozy hotel. Everything inside is very modern and clean without being too sleek. The staff is extremely helpful. Christian and Danielle gave us a lot of great advice and went above-and-beyond with several favors and errands. We would love to come back to Gmunden and would send all our friends and families to this hotel. If you are in Gmunden, be sure to take the very pleasant walk along the west bank of the Traun River: just cross the bridge from the hotel and turn right/north and walk north along the river.
